Look Ma, No Meds!

That's right! Hyrum is completely done with his antibiotics! Holy cow! He's come a long way in two weeks. Laurie and I went in three times today, so that she could try to feed him. The first one was a bit of a flop, but the last two have counted as his full feeding! (Which is great, considering the last main criterion we have to check off the list to get him home is to have Hyrum learn how to take all of his food orally). So, two IV lines are still in his tiny body, just in case, but the nurses say they plan on taking them out really soon... as in later tonight, most likely. Then all he will have left is his little feeding tube to feed him when we - or rather Laurie (I don't have TOO much to do in the process) isn't there, though they may switch to bottle soon. Little Hyrum is doing so well. Other nurses who had Hyrum at one point have asked how he's doing when we've seen them in the hall. He's a mini celebrity.
