What happens in Vegas....

So, I guess it's about time we updated our blog, eh? It's been a good month since graduation. We're both enjoying the homework-free lifestyle. Things are also going well in the pregnancy--we've heard the heartbeat several times now and have our ultrasound scheduled for June 17.
The highlight of the past month was our trip to Vegas. It was our graduation present to ourselves, and we had a really good time! Since pictures are worth a thousand words, I'll let them do the talking:

Dan won just over $20 off this penny slot machine!

We loved the Tournament of Kings show at the Excalibur.

It took a while, but we finally found a drinking fountain on the Strip.

The best part of the trip was getting to see the Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. The show was amazing! Our seats were towards the back right of the theatre, but because the show wasn't sold out that night, they let us move up. We ended up in the center of the theatre right under the big chandelier. It was awesome!

The trip was so much fun! We loved staying at the Excalibur. We also saw the Body World exhibition at the Luxor, several founatin shows at the Belagio, the volcano erupting at the Mirage, walked around M&M World, and enjoyed being outside and strolling around in the awesome 90 degree weather. It was so fun to get to spend time together with no homework or tests waiting for us back home.

The weekend before we left we went to Idaho Falls for my sister's baby blessing. Since Dan and I got married, my nephews have been begging him to wrestle with them. They have wanted to take him on since "he's so tall." Well, Dan finally gave in. Here's what happened:

I'm glad he survived! I've wrestled them before and they're tougher than they look!
