The House & Hyrum

Now that we have internet, it's time for me to be better about posting and keeping you all better updated about what we're up to (I know many of you are just dying to know. . .). I am loving our new house! It has been so fun to be in our own place and we're getting really excited for summer so we can enjoy our nice yard.

Hyrum has been doing better. The nebulizer seems to be helping and he wasn't as congested this morning. He's been able to keep more food down since he's not coughing it back up, so that's a good thing too. He gets cuter and cuter every day. His two favorite things are playing with his tongue and grabbing on to whatever he can touch.

We sure love this kid!

Herriman! No, Riverton!

We're all moved in!  We have no internet (hence the lack of posts), so I (Dan), am taking a moment out of my slow work day to write a quick post.  So, officially, we live in Riverton, we're in the Herriman Stake, and we get our water from South Jordan district... where in the world are we?!!  It's like a bad episode of The Twilight Zone (I can hear the music now... and for all you teen girls, this time, it's not about vampires).

We LOVE it here!  It's so close to my work, and we have a beautiful view.  I believe that we must be one of the only families in the history of the world to be able to see 3 LDS temples from their backyard.  It's awesome!  We love the ward, and everyone has reached out to us and accepted us very quickly (stark contrast from being the "renters").

Things are going really well right now.  Hyrum, however, has recently come down with quite the cough.  Laurie took him to the doctor today and got a prescription for a nebulizer that will loosen things up and help him breathe.  The doctor said that Hyrum's oxygen saturation was 98%, which is above the normal 95% for adults, so he is getting enough oxygen.  Relief.

We get the internet installed tomorrow, so expect more posts coming!
