Once in a long while... miracles happen...

Well, a few miracles, yes miracles, happened this month. Number on on the list - Dan is writing in his blog again, and it's only been just over a week! :)

The rest, well, let's just say my dating life rocks right now! Ha! So, I'm being more relaxed about the Trisha thing, and come to find (who'd have though) that it makes the relationship much more pleasant! Last Monday, I asked Rachel (aka Sparks Office Girl) out on a date, and she gladly accepted. Though we didn't go on a date, she came over to watch a movie on Thursday, then on Monday to watch Lost. -- Let me interject something here. Lost is AMAZING... I'm addicted. Middle of season 3, and I just can't stop! -- So, things are good between us.

Saturday night, I asked out a girl named Kasey. She's a real cutie (and she's one of April's good friends, so I've totally got the ins). She really has her head on straight and is on the right track. She's been thinking about a mission, but there's a hold-up on the papers due to medical concerns. We enjoyed a fun Saturday evening! Flirting a-plenty! Ha! I need to call her up again. I'd love to go out with her again. That's her on the left

So, another miracle -- Laurie added me as a friend on Facebook last night. Incredible! I know... she finally contacted me. It's all in the patience!

So, the options are open and I'm happy with life! Plus, I'm going to California tomorrow or Friday to Six Flag with some friends! We've got a soccer play off game tonight and if we win, we have the championship game on Thursday! Life is good. Yes, once in a long while... miracles happen...

He's back!

Whoa! Could it be.... is it really Dan?! Ha! I'm a slacker, I know. Wow, it's been a while. Things have changed quite a bit, but somehow, and somewhat uncannily, they are still the same. Let's go through my new list of girls. :)

Trisha: Well, things are good between us. I keep learning more and more about how to have patience and give her the room she feels that she needs. She really doesn't want to lose me, though, and I don't want to lose her. I don't know why, but I feel like this is something important to keep holding on to. She really is special, and I care a great deal for her. She was sick this last week, so I went and spent most of the afternoon and evening with her. She really appreciated it. Yesterday, she wanted to get together to volunteer at the Special Olympics, but I already had other plans. She was rather disappointed.

Annette: Things are good between us. We talked recently for about an hour and a half, and she's been real kind again. She feels restless living at home and is considering moving up to Provo again. I must say, it would be nice to have another dear friend around. She's a neat girl.

Nicole: Wait... who the heck is Nicole? Ha! Wouldn't you like to know? Nah, she's a good friend of mine from Dad's ward. However, she's currently down in Guatemala teaching kids. She served a mission, is Canadian, and she's the type of girl that holds on just a little longer when you hug. She really made me feel special before she left. She'll be back. :) That, above - the white one, that's her!

Laurie: Well, still no response, but I'm not writing her off yet.

Sparks Office Girl (aka Rachel): She's a cutie. I still haven't asked her out, but I plan on it.

Ha! Man, why is life this complicated? I really do enjoy it though, it makes for a lot of fun. I think I'm on the right track, and that this will all work out in the end. Well, there you have it, an update on Dan's life. Be happy for it!
