Thumb Suckers

Ever since he was a tiny baby, Hyrum has been a thumb sucker. But, he's not your normal thumb sucker. Whenever he sucks his thumb, he HAS to use his other hand to play with his ear. If he has a toy in the other hand, he just holds the toy up to his ear. It's not uncommon to see Hyrum walking around the house like this:



Now, I know that little brothers often want to be like their big brothers, but this is ridiculous!

    Love the pictures in the last couple of blogs!

    I remember Julia would suck her thumb while using her other hand to pull out her hair just above her ear....

    Such cuties! I was talking to my friend the other day, and she told me that all thumb suckers have a secondary habit, such as playing with their ear, or hair, or something along those lines. I told her about your little boy and his ear. Seems about right!
