Whoa! Could it be.... is it really Dan?! Ha! I'm a slacker, I know. Wow, it's been a while. Things have changed quite a bit, but somehow, and somewhat uncannily, they are still the same. Let's go through my new list of girls. :)
Trisha: Well, things are good between us. I keep learning more and more about how to have patience and give her the room she feels that she needs. She really doesn't want to lose me, though, and I don't want to lose her. I don't know why, but I feel like this is something important to keep holding on to. She really is special, and I care a great deal for her. She was sick this last week, so I went and spent most of the afternoon and evening with her. She really appreciated it. Yesterday, she wanted to get together to volunteer at the Special Olympics, but I already had other plans. She was rather disappointed.
Annette: Things are good between us. We talked recently for about an hour and a half, and she's been real kind again. She feels restless living at home and is considering moving up to Provo again. I must say, it would be nice to have another dear friend around. She's a neat girl.
Nicole: Wait... who the heck is Nicole? Ha! Wouldn't you like to know? Nah, she's a good friend of mine from Dad's ward. However, she's currently down in Guatemala teaching kids. She served a mission, is Canadian, and she's the type of girl that holds on just a little longer when you hug. She really made me feel special before she left. She'll be back. :) That, above - the white one, that's her!
Laurie: Well, still no response, but I'm not writing her off yet.
Sparks Office Girl (aka Rachel): She's a cutie. I still haven't asked her out, but I plan on it.
Ha! Man, why is life this complicated? I really do enjoy it though, it makes for a lot of fun. I think I'm on the right track, and that this will all work out in the end. Well, there you have it, an update on Dan's life. Be happy for it!
